Students who complete the Optical Technology Certificate Materials Program will be qualified to prepare work orders for ophthalmic laboratory technicians, including instruction in anatomy of the eye, optical instrumentation, maintenance of adjustment and cleaning tools, pathology identification, record-keeping and patient and administrative tasks.
