Founded in 1975, Oxnard College has proudly served our community for nearly a half century. Nestled in the heart of Oxnard and along Ventura County’s iconic coastline, our institution prides itself on our dedicated faculty and staff who are passionate about helping students achieve their dreams. For some, those dreams include earning an Associate’s Degree and transferring to a university on their way to a rewarding profession. For others, those dreams include securing a promising career in one of the exemplary technical programs we offer such as Culinary Arts, Fire Technology, Logistics, or Dental Hygiene, among others. At Oxnard College, all of these options provide an affordable path to a brighter future and in fact, our Oxnard College Promise provides two years of free tuition to first-time students attending full-time regardless of income or citizenship status.

In recent years, Oxnard College has garnered national acclaim for our robust academic offerings and commitment to equity, resulting in both higher graduation and transfer rates. We are honored to have been recognized once again by the esteemed Aspen Institute as among the nation’s top 150 community colleges. Additionally, we look forward to launching our first Bachelor’s program in 2025, which will focus on Dental Hygiene. As a proud product of hardworking immigrant parents, I was the first in my family to earn a college degree. My journey through public schools and community college paved the way for my success in navigating university life and pursuing my career.
