Music, Certificate of Achievement
The Certificate of Achievement in Music provides a structured course of study in foundational musicianship and performance. Students develop music literacy (reading standard notation), introductory theory and aural skills, and applied rehearsal and performance practices through coursework and ensemble participation. The certificate supports multiple goals, including preparation for continued study and transfer in music, entry-level workforce readiness in music-related settings, civic and community engagement through performance, and lifelong learning in the arts.
