Credit Courses
This academic listening and speaking course is for multilingual students. Instruction will focus on oral fluency and listening comprehension in preparation for college level communication. Presentation skills, complex grammar for speaking, pronunciation and intonation will be addressed.
This high intermediate ESL course offers students instruction in reading and writing strategies. Instruction focuses on developing paragraphs and short essays with clear topic sentences and supporting details, with an emphasis on clarity, unity and organization. Students will read a variety of pre-college texts, which model different modes of development.

This is a beginning course for non and limited English proficient students who want to acquire the communication skills necessary for living, working, and attending school where English is used. Integration of computer literacy, such as basic computer knowledge and keyboarding will help students build the basic skill set needed in the workplace, in school, and other aspects of their daily lives.
