The Auto Body Painting and Refinishing Program is a proficiency award that prepares students for positions in the auto body and repair industry in the area of painting and refinishing.

Upon successful completion of this program, students will be able to: 

• Students will demonstrate proficiency on a spot paint repair by prepping, priming, sanding, painting, and blending a small, damaged repair area on a single car panel or practice panel
  
• Students will demonstrate proficiency in panel painting repair by prepping, priming, sanding, and painting a complete damaged repaired car panel and or practice panel.
• Demonstrate proficiency in complete car painting repair.
