Digital Fabrication, Certificate of Achievement
The Certificate of Achievement in Graphic Design: Digital Fabrication explores modern skills in digital design, and introduces students to the fundamentals of digital fabrication. Students translate their ideas into 2D and 3D forms by using software that allows them to use laser cutting, CNC routing and 3D printing and many other CAM based equipment to create physical objects for their artwork. After successfully completing the Certificate of Achievement in Graphic Design: Digital Fabrication, a student could be hired as an: fabrication design associate, fabrication designer and coordinator.

Upon successful completion of this program, students will be able to:
- apply design principles to both print and screen layouts.
- demonstrate proficiency using industry standard software to produce graphic design layouts that are print-ready digital files.
- demonstrate a sense of aesthetics for design and typography in the visual communication field.
