Digital Fabrication, Certificate of Achievement

The Certificate of Achievement in Graphic Design: Digital Fabrication explores modern skills in digital design, and introduces students to the fundamentals of digital fabrication. Students translate their ideas into 2D and 3D forms by using software that allows them to use laser cutting, computer numerical controlled (CNC) routing and 3D printing and many other CAM based equipment to create physical objects for their artwork. After successfully completing the Certificate of Achievement in Graphic Design: Digital Fabrication, a student could be hired as a fabrication design associate, fabrication designer and coordinator. To earn the Certificate of Achievement in Graphic Design: Digital Fabrication, students must complete 14-15 units.
