HSI Title V Grants

Oxnard College is a designated Hispanic Serving Institution (HSI). The U.S Department of Education Title V HSI Grant assists with strengthening institutional programs, facilities, and services to expand the educational opportunities for Hispanic Americans and other underrepresented populations. Title V grants enable HSI schools to expand and enhance their academic offerings, program quality, and institutional stability.

Proyecto Éxito

The aim of Proyecto Éxito is to support students through increased activities and intentional outreach to connect students to our Career Center and Transfer Center services. The grant objectives include 1) increase transfer and career success through skills and work-based learning 2) increase financial literacy 3) increase transfer and career placement 4) peer mentorship and 5) faculty and counselor professional development. Further, this Title V grant will establish an Endowment to support ongoing project expenses beyond the sunsetting of this grant.
