Acting, Proficiency Award
This Acting Proficiency Award is for those students considering a Theatre Arts minor or transferring to a four year institution. This award will introduce students to introductory skills and concepts necessary for transfer which will lead to employment opportunities and growth in the area of acting, which may be applied to theatre, television, film, and voice-over.

Upon successful completion of this program, students will be able to:
- Express themselves creatively through the introductory application of the theatrical skills of acting.
- Utilize time-management and feedback skills to new and varied situations in rehearsal and performance.
- Recognize a problem, and devise and implement a plan of action during rehearsals.
- Synthesize feedback to improve performance as cast member.
