The FTMA: Film - Certificate of Achievement (COA) introduces students to the fundamentals of production for film. The training provided for this certificate may lead to positions in management or in other creative branches of the Entertainment Industry. Study is focused toward developing competence in specific areas of film production. 

After successfully completing this certificate, a student will be able to utilize a variety of equipment to successfully complete a digital film production project and be able to demonstrate professional skills that enable students to work in entry level film production.  These jobs could be: production assistant, production associate, cinematographer, camera assistant, production coordinator, gaffer, key grip, or any other positions on a film production team. 

To earn a Certificate of Achievement in FTMA: Film, students must complete 9 units. 

Upon successful completion of this program, students will be able to: 

• utilize a variety of equipment to successfully complete a digital film production project.
• demonstrate professional skills that enable students to work in entry level film production jobs.
